Panj Travel takes its name from the Panj River, which traces the border between Tajikistan and Afghanistan along the Wakhan Corridor — one of the most striking stretches of the Pamir Highway. We are a small team of Tajik guides, drivers and planners based in Khorog, the gateway to the Pamirs, and we built this company to share the mountains, valleys and villages we grew up in with travelers from around the world.

Every guide is Tajik, most from the very regions you'll be exploring — the Wakhan Corridor, the Fann Mountains, and the Pamirs.
We prioritize homestays, family-run guesthouses and local eateries, so tourism income stays in the communities we visit.
High-altitude routes, permits (including GBAO), and safety logistics are handled in detail before you ever set foot on the road.
Most tours run for 2 or more travelers, with private departures available — never a bus full of strangers.
English-speaking guides by default, with Russian, German, French and other languages available on request.
